At Last a Solution: Set yourself free from:-
My illness started at the age of 16 when I was misdiagnosed as suffering from tonsillitis when I actually had glandular fever. I never properly recovered from it and throughout my teens and early twenties had bouts of severe flu that would leave me bed ridden for 6 to 8 weeks at a time. Adding to the stress of the situation was the dismissive attitude of doctors, and on their advice I continued with my travel plans, backpacking through Thailand and Australia. From the first day I arrived I experienced sudden, awful and frightening symptoms which I now know to be ME symptoms. I also contracted dengue fever and consequently spent a month in bed at a relative’s house before returning home. Two years of horrific symptoms and pain followed, keeping me indoors and in bed for most of the time.
My family were incredibly supportive and wonderful, and though their help I have encountered and learned from some amazing people. One of whom is a herbalist and bio-chemist who has helped immensely with anti-candida, digestive tract, and restorative treatments. He also introduced me to an amazing spiritual healer who helped enormously with emotional as well as physical aspects. I have since met some incredibly kind and gifted healers in the north east who have helped me in a similar way.
But, by far, the most dramatic change has come about through meeting Wendy. Over the past year I have been to MRT sessions with her and my overall health, ability and inclination to live life to the full has increased beyond belief. I am still recovering and haven’t yet reached the point of wellness I’m aiming for, but I am confident I will get there soon. I am thrilled to say that I’m now riding for an hour or more twice a week, am loving being involved with horses again and help out every now and then at Stepney bank stables for a couple of hours. I’m also walking about 4 or 5 miles on a Sunday, usually through Jesmond Dene or along the beaches in Tynemouth and Whitley bay if it’s sunny. I love to walk into town whenever I get the chance, to root through charity and vintage shops, and generally enjoy the ambiance and busyness of being in a city. I adore being able to go out with the girls again, and getting up to have a dance without thinking about it.
I’m still learning about myself and how best to use the tools I’ve been given through Wendy. Although it was, and sometimes still is, a very difficult journey, it’s undoubtedly a worthwhile one that is giving me back my health and independence. Wendy has shown me the life and choices I never believed I could have.
